Many of us want to make a difference in the world. Maybe we want to become civil rights lawyers who stick up for those with no voice, eco-activists who protect our planet, or scientists who save millions of lives through their discoveries.
Of course, not all of our aims have to be so lofty. We can also change our world through the little, more achievable things — by helping an older person with their groceries, smiling at someone who’s had a bad day, or working with a neighbor to build that deck they’ve been talking about for years.
